This is the packaging for the wine I made last fall.
Tasted the pale ale tonight, it has been in the bottle 13 days now. I was good but still needs to age longer. It is 7.4% alcohol and normally the higher the alcohol the longer the beer should age. It tastes a little sweet right now but I think as it matures the hops will become more prominent.
The color looks good and it holds a great head, we will see about the taste.
Shane you will have to give me an unbiased opinion on Friday.
Friday I brewed another batch of beer, this time I brewed a Nutty Brown Oatmeal Stout. It is very dark, I used a whole pound of roasted barley and 1/2 lb. of dark crystal malt. The original gravity was (more…)
