I have wanted a fire pit for a long time but never wanted to drop $50-$75 on a chunk of metal to burn wood on. Harkening back to my sculpture days back in school I went out back to my shed and pulled out a 1/16″ thick sheet of steel and a couple steel rods I pulled of an old baby crib. Then one vice, a hacksaw, an hour and a homemade sheet metal bender I had a cool modern fire pit.
Next couple nights you will find me drinking a homebrew by the fire.

Arrogant Bastard Ale is an american strong ale and the beer is as good as the bottle that holds it. This beer is really hoppy with heavy undertones of burnt carmel, a very strong beer. This beer is not for the faint of taste, but if you like strong bitter beers pick one up. This was a good pint for a Sunday afternoon.
